Kyle Turner was born in 1986 in Warren, Pennsylvania.  He currently lives and resides in Dekalb, IL, where he is finishing up his MFA in Printmaking at Northern Illinois University.  His work focuses on his childhood and adolescence experiences within working class, blue-collar hardships and pastimes.  He has exhibited both nationally and internationally, most recently at the Pacific Rim International, in Christchurch, New Zealand.  He has recently been awarded the University Fellowship by Northern Illinois University, an award given for exceptional achievement in a personal field of study.
